Established as a dedicated resource for the Sila Voli Association's Yudanshakai, the Nichiro-Kai operates outside the influence and bureaucracy of major sanctioning bodies. The association maintains clear guidelines on rank and standards while pursuing an independent path. Although it holds lifetime memberships with the Judo Black Belt Association's International Freestyle Judo Alliance and the US Combat Sambo Association, these affiliations strictly serve its primary mission: cultivating skill, character, and physical development that prioritizes combat effectiveness over politics
